BTC AB, The Smarter Web Company, and Others Boost Bitcoin Holdings

Institutional demand for Bitcoin is on the rise, with major companies ramping up their Bitcoin holdings in a strategic shift towards digital assets. BTC AB, The Smarter Web Company, H100 Group, and Strategy have all recently announced significant Bitcoin acquisitions. These moves are not only reshaping the crypto market but also solidifying Bitcoin's position as a core treasury asset. BTC AB, a Swedish Bitcoin-focused firm, increased its holdings by 10 BTC in July 2025, bringing its total to 166 BTC. Similarly, The Smarter Web Company added 225 BTC to its stash, now holding a total of 1,825 BTC. Semler Scientific and H100 Group also made substantial purchases, further fueling the trend of institutional adoption.

Volcon and Matador Technologies Make Strategic Bitcoin Investments

Electric vehicle manufacturer Volcon disclosed a 3,183 BTC position valued at $375 million and implemented short-term put options to accumulate more Bitcoin at discounted prices. Additionally, Matador Technologies secured a $100 million facility to purchase Bitcoin with the goal of acquiring 6,000 BTC by 2027. These strategic investments highlight the growing interest in Bitcoin as a long-term store of value and a hedge against market uncertainties.

Strategy Leads Corporate Bitcoin Accumulation, Surpasses 600,000 BTC

Strategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, added 6,220 BTC in July, bringing its total holdings to 607,770 BTC. This acquisition, valued at $739.8 million, underscores the firm's sustained investment in Bitcoin since 2020. With public and private companies collectively holding over 1.3 million BTC, institutional accumulation is reducing available supply and potentially supporting Bitcoin's price. Analysts predict that continued institutional buying could drive Bitcoin to new all-time highs, surpassing $150,000 or even $250,000.
